Earbuds EP-T16S || Microphone issue

Hi team,

I received yesterday my brand new Earbuds EP-T16S, I was pretty glad about the quality until I noticed a problem.
Pairing is okay with my phone (Asus Zenfone 6) and laptop.
The issue is that these both devices do use the microphone of the phone itself and the laptop itself instead of using the mic of the earbuds. Which means that it loses all its utility. I actually bought the earbuds for having free hand conversation not keeping my phone in my hands.

Does anyone have a solution for this? I tried reboot, reset (by tapping for 10s)… Different applications (WhatsApp, recorders…) and the result is still the same.
