CB-C81 Ethernet Port not working

Hey there -

I purchased this hub, and all of the ports are working great - except the ethernet port. I have it plugged into my MacBook, and the green light on the port is lit. But, no matter how often I turn Wi-Fi off and on, the the signal from the ethernet never seems to hit the Mac. So, as a result, I need to be on Wi-Fi all of the time, which negates one of the main reasons I got this hub.

Any solutions? Can I get a replacement?

Thanks for joining the community. Please try the following steps to fix the problem:

System Preferences → Network → click on “+” to create a new service → select USB 10/100/1000 LAN → Create → Application
(click on the application shows USBUSB 10/100/1000 LAN green, Has been connected successfully), MacBook this time through the wired Internet access
